P0441 - EVAP Emission Control System Purge Flow Fault

What does that code means on our cars? I have a 1997 F-Body V6, and my car threw that code today.

im not 100% sure, but i think it has something to do with your evap cannister and there being no airflow

and where is it located? because I haven't seen it before. like a week ago i had to remove the upper and lower intake manifold to change those gaskets, and i broke a vacuum elbow from the line that goes from the map sensor and the throttle. I dont know if that had anything to do with this.

did you reconnect your purge valve?

that code can either be the purge valve which is on your upper intake, or the charcoal canister. that is behind the black plastic panel in your drivers side rear wheel well. just take the wheel off, then the panel. and it's right there

apparently I solved the problem, I found a diagram with all the vacuum lines conections, and apparently, I did a wrong conection.

mmmm, I was thinking, is there any way, or is it possible that the EVAP system can be shut off or eliminated?

depends on the year of the car...93-00 is behind the plastic cover in the rear drivers side wheel well, 01-02 is on top of the gas tank
