Could be a million things. On-off ones can sometimes be emission things in my experience or cooling things (stuff that changes as you drive). No way to tell. Go get it scanned at AutoZone or any major car parts shop for free. Just say "could you please scan my OBD-II?" to the parts lookup clerk. Then save the printout they give you and post the data here and we can help. It may be really obvious to you once they tell you what it is.

              Re: SES light?

Even if the light is off now it should store codes that were thrown before unless you had them cleared out. It's free at any normal brand name parts store. Some mechanics seem to think they can charge $40-100 for this service... (cheap scanner costs $60...) so don't fall for that BS and just go to somewhere like AutoZone..
