  • Oil pressure & Alt

Driving the car today and notice my oil pressure shot up to nearly 90psi. Car's been running fine; main question is will I blow any seals or anything out at this pressure? I plan on changing the oil tomorrow or Sat, and will be going with something a bit lighter since it's cooling down a bit; current weight is 10w-40 Penzoil.

Also, I think my alt might be dying; the lights flicker when I hit the brakes, and the interior lights dim with the lope of the cam. Never did it before; going to have them check the alt tomorrow, but any suggestions?
