I've replaced mine its a pretty simple 30$ part. two screws and its out pull it out clean out the inside where the spring goes in. Put new one in. But what exactly is the problem that is making you want to Replace that?. You might be wasting 30 bucks

I bought one for my 97 and could never figure out exactly what kind of screws those were. I have yet to change it. What the hell kind of screw is that? I tried everything I had and nothing worked on them.

Man the IAC might not help your idling issues Trust me I know i tried and it was a total Pain in the A$$ to find out where it was coming from.. First Check for a vacuum Leak check your hoses check for a loud hissing sound undernearth the Plenum That's where my leak was and had to replace the Intake manifold gaskett. But IAC from my experience and from what I'v heard doesnt really fix a rough idle.. also Check your throttle body as well throttle body gaskett. Plus you have alotta miles on your car like me. I have a 138k on mine so it actually won't hurt to change those gasketts anyway cause there probably pretty rough as it is with high miles.
