My engine temp gauge is not working. When i shut the car off the fans sound like they were blasting. I popped the hood and the coolant system seems like its goin crazy (it was very cold). There was even a mild burning smell when i popped the hood. I installed a 160* thermostat a few weeks ago. My car is a 2002 and has a 195* stock thermo. Could it be because 160 is too much of a difference? COuld it be because i lost some coolant and didnt replace it when i installed the new thermo (it didnt seem like it was very much). PLEASE HELP, I CANT DRIVE MY CAR UNTIL I KNOW WHATS GOING ON, AND ITS MY ONLY CAR. thanks for your help
