Hey my fan won;t kick on till 245 and then shuts off at 210 what the hell is going on i know this is not normal one more thing will a bad thermostat cause this type of problem i need to know the mechanic who rebuil my engine says it's the radiator cloggged but even then it should still turn on at 210 right not 245

I have a stock 1994 3.4L and my fan operates in a similar fashion. Unless the A/C is on, the fans don't turn on until near the 3/4 mark on the temp guage(235F I believe). So, as far as I am aware, that is normal for our engines.
The thermo operation shouldn't affect the fan turn-on temp. In fact, when sitting still, i don't believe the thermo has much effect, but I could be wrong on that. Installing a manual fan switch will allow you to turn on the fan if sitting in traffic.
Does your temp get that high when driving, or only when sitting still? Regardless of outside temp, my car operates around 195-200F when moving. If sitting still it will slowly climb to 235, and the fan turns on, quickly dropping the temp back to ~200F. If you don't want a manual fan switch, you could just turn on the A/C in traffic to activate the fans.
Man, your cars operate hot. Change it out, especially if your in TX. My car operates around 170 (Houston) most of the time. It rarely rises over 220 and that includes running it at the track.

Stagenb what do i change out it seems sometimes not to even work i just changed the sensor and nothing different happened. IS there a seperate relay or something my fan does turn on if i kick onthe defrost so i know the motor is good.

If your temp problem is when you are sitting still,

then I don't know how much good the thermo will do. The lack of airflow over the radiator when sitting still causes the temp to jump. You could remove the thermo (not advised!) and would still probably see the temp go up. That is why the fan switch is benefitial. On-demand airflow, even when sitting still.

If your car warms up fastr then it use to your thremo may be stuck closed or the coolant isnt flowing. You should fix it as fast as you can though, because oil starts to break down at about 255 degrees.
Well thats good to know however the fan is electrically controlled by two sensors and should kick on when the sensor reads 210 and it doesn;t and i've reaplced both sensors
