Hey guys, I was wondering where the power wire for a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro 3.8L is located? Is it under neath the seat or do you have to drop fuel tank to get to it?
I'm going to have a friend install a fuel pump switch in my car; therefore, I need to find the location of the power wire.
I'm looking specifically for only the power wire on the fuel pump, and the location so i can access it. It's for a 2000 camaro too. Those pics where taken on the 93-97 bodies.
If you are trying to get to the fuel pump itself, you do not have to drop the tank to access the fuel pump - but you have to cut carefully. Here is what did when I had to replace my fuel pump:
Great info. I have a 96 3.8. I haven't made the access panel just yet, but am going to soon since the pump went out. How easy is it to disconnect them?Since I drive my 98 everyday, the 96 is my test car.lol
