So I got my tax return and I have a little money to play around with. I have already bought an Aluminum Driveshaft for 124$ on Ebay and some Taylor Spiro 8mm wires. I still have a bit of money to play with so I was looking into some new coil packs. I searched the boards and could not get a definative answer on the MSD Blaster Coils. I Did find info about the ACCEL and I will not be buying those. I would like to go with AC Delco but wow they are like 15-20 more than the MSD. So what is a good one to go with? MSD, Duralast or AC Delco or just leave the ones I have in there until one or all break?

Re: Which Coils to go with
Cool, Im not having any problems with the car. I just figured that I would replace them just for GP. I ordered new wires and as soon as I put my headers on Im going to replace my plugs. The plugs that are on there are still good but I already bought replacements so I might as well use them. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Which Coils to go with
Stock coils have been proven to be the best for our cars, no need to upgrade really. Guys do run the MSD's but gains are very minimal at best.

Re: Which Coils to go with
Coils were problems back when the 1997-2002 F body cars were new. I had problems with mine at about 60K miles. I had them replaced under the GMPP warranty and have never had any trouble since then.
I say forget about them until they start to give you problems. Until then, save your money for something else.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
