Searched and found: absolutely nothing

ok, drivin home with a friend of mine last night out in the middle of no where and i go to turn the hi beams on... no click :( ... and they dont turn on. :( :( i can seem to get them on after a few tries of bouncing the signal arm back and forth (still no click but for some reason come on)... but i dont WANT to have to do that and i want it fixed. i havent had the chance to take a good look at the steering column and everything yet (its 1:20AM here). and i was hoping for any enlightenment yall might wanna share.... so please do.

I have this same problem. The high beams have never worked in my car.

Yes, it's most likely a broken switch in the column.

Unless you're experianced at working around airbags, I would take it to the dealer or a trusted mechanic. I have had to replace this and the blinker switch on my beater, but I didn't have airbags to worrry about, so it was a cinch.

well, ya, i wouldnt mess with the air bag... BUT i have a bad habit of playing with things that i shouldnt SO in light of that fact i went out to take a better look at everything. i couldnt see anything origionally cuz it was VERY late... i got a good look at it today and i noticed that the peices of the steering column were popping out. so i pulled them off to see what was goin on. Nothing was broken or busted so i put it back together to scratch my head some more. after i put the plastic panbel covering it back on nice n snugg, it worked... weird...i guess it was to loose or sumthin.
