  • Running funny at lower idle sometimes stalls?

    Hello All,
Quick question, have an 02 Camaro. Lately the car has been running funny, whenever cruising under 2k sometimes the car seems to surge. Cannot really think of a better word for it. If I am on the gas lightly and dont press on the gas sometimes the car seems to rev a bit more then go back to normal. I cannot tell on the tach if the car is actually revving more but it sounds it. Also I think this is a related problem if I do not warm up the car too much on a cold day and back out of my space the car stalls going from revese to drive. Also there seems to be a lack of power when restarting the car for about 30 - 40 seconds or so when I go into drive if the car stalls.

Could it be a bad EGR valve? I cannot think of what it is. I know the exhaust was re-welded and needs ot be fixed a bit more but I dont think that is it, its pretty well sealed up.

    Thanks,
    Eddie

no, that doesnt sound like an EGR.. but it may be the IAC, or a vacuum leak
