How can I fix this? haha

Last year the engine caught on fire while trying to get the car out of a snow bank, at least there was something cold to put it out before something bad happened haha.
A lot of the wires near the top of the engine are melted. I was trying to figure out what started the fire in the first place, thinking it might have been a leaky injector or something. I noticed the cylinder 2 injector is melted beyong recognition while the other five look fine. I'm not sure if it's just covered in melted rubber like everything else or if it was actually the cause of the fire. What do you guys think?

It almost looks like gas on it doesn't it?
That's a pic of the injector right behind the alternator.

This engine ran fine before the fire, I think it's just all this stuff around the engine that needs to be replaced.

replace the harness, injectors, looks like the fire might of made it into the tb. screen looks shot. replace the sensors, belts, fuel rail... should be fine aslong as you replace anything melted.

you can buy Tom's motor with harness, I have some things that you could use to repair it.

Didn't notice the maf screen, I guess the car really does breath fire haha. How much are you selling your engine for, Tom? I don't need a transmission. I'm not sure the rest of the car's worth sinking a lot of money into, it's really beat up.

would be cheaper than buying a new car.

There is no way in friggin hell I would try to clean that up and repair it. I'm shocked you're contemplating it.

Swap the motor or sell the car. Only two acceptable options.

A engine that caught fir e and melted all kinds of wires is not a safe and reliable egine to fix/repair. Ditch that and sell it for scrap. youll have way more problems and headaches down the road. its toast brah. Not trying to be so negative and stuff but like everyone else, i am shocked youd want to save it.
