rear seat belt removal in an 02 3.8.

  • rear seat belt removal in an 02 3.8.

    Anyone have trouble removing these bolts? I dont have any eletric tools so i was outside for almost an hour off and on trying to get those stupid bolts out. they wont come out. any suggestions would be appreciated. iam doing this for weight reduction.

      I didn't have any trouble with mine when I took then out like 4 years ago. Mine is a 96' Camaro. Used a 1/2" drive on it.

          Grow some muskles and put some arse into it. I've never had an issue.

            I work out 3 times a week. how come no one has an issue =( i used all my strength it wont move. it seems like all the bolts on my car are a huge pain in the ***. maybe my tools just suck.

                lol i just took the whole both back seats out. they came out right out.. but i think the seatbelt bolts may be stripped or i just need a better tool for them.

                  get a blow torch and torch the bolts for about 30 seconds then try em... make sure there isn't any cloth nearby, or anything underneath that could catch fire... even if its close, the metals gonna get hot enough to catch cloth etc. on fire even if the flame itself doesn't actually hit it...
                  Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
                  Custom interior...

                    mine gave me some trouble too, and like you I'm surprised no one else's did , but once I shot em with the torch they came out like they'd been tightened yesterday
