look in the door for gu6 and g80 on the vin codes, 3.42 were normally combo-ed with lsd.

took me about 4.5 hours with a jack and some jack stands in my back yard. but i cut out the whole stock exhaust system. the hardest part was getting the egr to line up...

the one in the window is the vin number. there is a placard in the drivers door with a bunch of 3 letter and number codes.

              http://tech.firebirdv6.com/generalspecs.html

all down that page is the codes listed for any option on f-bodies, and maybe other cars. you can see what codes your car has and what they mean.

mine does too, it takes a bit of torque to break em both loose. its not a locking differential, lsd only spins the other tire when when the passenger tire is held beyond a certain threshold.

but then again you didnt say you had G80, which is the code for lsd.

i dont have one of those, but i heard they are almost worthless for power, just tuneable shift points...

yaa i picked up for 100 bucks so im not expecting a whole lot out of it. idk where to mess with the shift points but i kinda wanted to see how the shift firmness would help it out. its hard to find anybody who has used this b4 who could help me out. supposedly it gains up to 15 hp. but idk. seems unrealistic...
