Are you trying to say that the tranny is slipping a lot during the 2-3 shift?
How are the 1-2 and 3-4 shifts? How many miles are on the car? How long has it been since the tranny has been serviced? How does the tranny fluid look?

Is the tranny fluid full? And what condition is it in (what color is it)?
It definetly sounds like the tranny is starting to go.
