I have a 02 firebird with 60k and i was wondering if i seafoamed the car, if i would gain any performance back from carbon deposits. it worked wonders on my buddies mini fan so i thought maybe i should give it a shot... tell me what you think guys!

It might free up something or it might not change anything at all. It all depends on how the car was driven and if it's been cleaned beforehand. I did mine at 80k and it was quite a smoke show, but didn't change much in how the car performed. It may have slightly smoothed out the idle, but that's about it. Just give it a try and don't forget to clean out the throttle body. You would be surprised to see how much carbon can build up on the throttle plate.

Disassembling and thoroughly cleaning the TB was one of the best (cost-free) things I did to my old 96 3.8! The idle was perfect after that.
BG baby! see if you can get your hands on some BG induction service...its a three part process, a cleaner that sprays in through the TB while the car is running, a super clean that you hook up to the fuel rail and a fuel treatment, then change your fuel filter.
