  • Hazard flasher unit

    Hey Everyone,

I've been trying to locate the hazard flasher unit in my 96 Firebird for a good hour, but didn't find it. I've looked in places that the Haynes manual and posts on this board suggest. Moreover, I did not see anything that's remotely like the pictures and descriptions suggest (except the steering column, of course).

If anyone knows where this unit is on a '96, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Dmitriy

It's up under the driver side dash. It's a little silver canaster thing that just plugs in.

There are two flashers, one for signals and one for emergency flashers. You will need to remove the knee bolster to see either of them.
