  • Stalling Problem

my 97 maro has a sheitload of problems. the most noticeable is the stalling and this happens from time to time when stopped at red lights. the idle is rough though it hovers around 900 rpms. the car will just die and sometimes it takes 5-10 ten tries to get it running again.

also, when i drive over long periods of time and then park the car for 10-20 minutes, when i try to start the car it wont start, only crank. this also takes 5-10 turns of the key to get it to start.

when it starts in both cases, its a very weak start. the car doesnt jolt from side to side like it used to.

ideas? questions? i need to fix this ASAP so any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
