Some info I found out

I was having zero power to everything no lights anywhere , nothing , and then I remembered I was messing with the red power accessory little box I opened it up and it was full of dirt build up and dust from my paint job in Jan. so I cleaned it up and it started right up. I guess that must be a power to the PCM because I would lose all my radio stations and clock when it did this. From time to time I would just get a clicking noise coming from the passenger side and would have to turn the key back off and restart it and it would fire up. Just something new I learned from over 13 years of having it it is the first time I cleaned the box up. Before that I went through every fuse and relay I could find checking them. So if someone has a similar problem , this is what to check out. It also might connect to the BCM thinking about it.

you are correct, it does connect to the bcm. If the bcm does noot receive a signal, it cannot send a signal to the ignition. On the other hand, it's kinda funny that the power accessory wire would contribute to 0 power. It should cut off the power windows, radio, and about 10 other things. I wouldn't think having build up on it woould cause the ligths not to work. Oh well, you learn something new every day!
