How do I fix a leaking turn signal light? I am pretty sure the seal is just bad. How do i get a water tight seal on this light. I heard of people putting these lights in the oven and then resealing them. If thats true what temp, how long, and what do i seal it with?
Thank you,
Mike
The mods: Flowmaster 3\" catback exhaust system, K&N Aircharger Intake Kit, Polished 077 Eagle wheels and more to come.
use some clear RTV sealant, similar to the stuff they use on fishtanks...
I have heard peopel have problems with it leaking at the light bulb jack, where it "plugs" into the turn signal, out some sealoan on that thing as well...

Yep, what he said.
I had a problem with mine too and I siliconed the crack where water was getting in. If you seal the spot where water gets in, you won't need to drill a hole to let it out.
i have a buddy who's diamond clear corners leaked where the two halves of the housing came together. he just put clear silicone where the halves meet, and he hasn't had any probs since. i also put the silicone on my diamond's, "just in case."
