    total deal? thinking i might do it this summer
    i like the thought of having a V8 and paying insurance on V6

    its probably worth it just to swap your car for a T/A... i am thinking of buying a T/A cuz i want v8 power... gonna keep the 6 tho cuz we've got a bond [img]smile.gif[/img] lol

      But your v6 insurance will not cover your v8 engine should something happen to it. just keep that in mind.

      Then again if your car gets wrecked so far that your engine is messed your car would 99% for sure be totalled anyway.

        its easier to find LS1s is what i was told at hpsalvalge. and it would be around 5 grand if you think of it like this: 2 grand engine and components, 1 grand for tranny, and 2 grand installation
        that is exactly what i plan on doing when my car hits its old age.
        6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

          Call Scott at www.speedautomotive.com . They do V6 to V8 swaps, and can sell you EVERYTHING you need to do it right.
