my car wont start, i dont hear the fuel pump turning on when the car is in the "on" position, is this a bad fuel pump or filter or what? i tried searchin but cant find anything, thanks for anyones help

Not enough info here!Does it turn over (crank),& did you check the sometimes too obvious,ie battery,or did you put a spark tester on the plugs,assuming it does crank?geocorComment

normally I'd say check the pink wire ( :rolleyes: [img]graemlins/slap.gif[/img] ) but is anything else happening w/the key in the "on" position. Might be the infamous VATS/PASSKEY wire breakage.

no everything else turns on, radio lights the works, it started up today and was running at idle rough, then i turned it off, then tried agian and nothin. when i turn to to the "on" position i dont hear the fuel pump turn on so im not sure whats wrong*1997 Camaro v6 3.8*<br />President of NorCal Sinister SixComment
