As long as the hoses go to and from your water pump and the rest of the lines/plugs are in order, you should be able to use the LT1 radiator.
I know someone who is using the stock LT1 rad on his 97 to LS1 swap. In fact, I believe the LT1 has more capacity than the LS1.

no problem. Also some v8 radiators have a hole for a "Low Coolant Sensor" . Now if the car you are using it in does not have this sensor you will need an adjustable freeze plug to plug that hole.

Summit racing , 2" thick radiator 3 fin for auto 149.99 part# 433571. That will be my next upgrade if my radiator take a dump.
