Re: Whats a good price for a used engine??
good thing about that engine is that the miles are not so high you cant take it apart, replace the things that need replacing (while out of the car) like gaskets, sensors, bearings if needed... refresh the engine and it'll be like new again.. good buy
ArcherMISC: 01 parts. Some interior, T top kit, seats etc.

rebuilding an engine is gonna cost you more than $350, lol.
also forged rotating assembly? why? Your cranks have handled 600+ hp stock. No need for forged crank and such

well im not filmilar with the 3.8 gm engines i did not know that about the cranks. after i get back on my feet,i plan on building the engine i found to handle a turbo. hense the forged rotating assembly. thats why i joined this site....i am very used to the 4.6 sohc and dohc from the mustang and what it can and cant handle. when i found out i was loosing my mustang and i found josh's bird, vanbidder directed me to this site and said there was a couple of members on here that have a turbo 3.8.

pick up a 3800 from a fwd car, they will be way lower in mileage for the same price or cheaper.
