yup, im really thinking of putting a carbed 302 in it.. im not really sure how i can get it passed emissions testing though
thats easy...if its absolutly necessary (no other way)...put a corrolla on the rollers to do it for you ;)....just get it done under the table...usually the guys will just run another car that passes, change some info around and give you the paperwork...

they do the emissions from the OBDII port on 95+ cars, and a 1 and 2 speed idle with 1975+ cars

then don't put a carbed engine in...throw a crate engine in...or see if there is somehow that you can be put in a hotrod status category...I've heard of guys putting there camaros in that category when you have a different engine that is in the car....that could be something that is just over here though...I dunno...
AZ, they just put their scanner in the port and check for codes. I think they turn the gas cap to see if there is pressure too. Thats it, don't even pop the hood. Plus they have been doing 2 year emissions now on my car, just have to pay the 2 year registration which is a whopping $90 for 2 years. I think I'll keep my car.LOL My wifes 07' 3.5L Vue was $396 for 1 year. No new car for me.

cant do that here, already looked.. the only way you can quality for custom plates is in the car is 1945 or older.
the only way to do it is drive less than 5,000 miles a year which would make the car exempt from emisions.. and visual also
