No I havn't blown mine up but I am thinking of having it rebuilt with forged internals before I go with tiago's tutbo so I can go with higher boost. For people that have done it what did it cost? Did you do it yourself of have someone else do it for that price?

well i had my engine practiclly rebuilt i blew out the head gasket so i told them to just basilly go ahead and rebuild it and it ran me $750 for my 94 3.4Comment

supplying all the parts the guy doing my motor said about ~$1000. in that area.....

Thanks. I was getting about $5000 in the near future and wanted tiagos turbo kit. $3000 for the kit. I was hoping to have enough left over to have the motor rebuilt with better parts and the kit installed. Looks like it will be a little tight but doable. umm BY THE WAY I HAD A 5300 LOAN I GOT:
Turbo kit
PISTONS
CAM (AND EVERY THING, NEW RODS SPRINGS (130LB) TI retainers, OER lifters)
cam install kit w/timing chain
RODS
and p/p heads for that
talk to 3800 performance oabout the Rods pistons and cam. hes a cool guy and will oder any cam grind you want, like 2000 for all that
but that dont give you any money for labor to do the motor :(www.turbov6camaro.com
