Well my mechanic says I need a knock sensor, the wire, and the connector for it. Trouble is no salvage yard within 80 miles has the part I need. I know I can get one of like a 97-02 lesabre, grand prix, bonneville, etc. but none of the salvge yards here let you take the parts of yourself and none of them will sell me the whole assembly for god knows why. Autozone has the sensor I need, and I know I can splice in like 14-16g wire into it, but I can't find the special connector I need. If anyone has a picture of the part I need or better...a place to buy it all, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: trouble locating a knock sensor connector
This was already answered, a haynes manual will have wiring diagrams for the color of the wires from the PCM.

Re: trouble locating a knock sensor connector
I did post an add earlier about the knock sensor but now I'm trying to find the connector that locks on to the knock sensor. Im not tracing the wire all the way back to to the ECM, i'm just gonna splice it at the knock sensor and hook it up that way.
