Re: p/s pulley
To take the whole pump off it is 2 bolts you have to spin the pulley to get to the bolts through the pulley then to get the pulley off the pump use a 3 jaw puller. Then once you get a new pump, I used my vise to press the pulley back on. Pretty easy.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

to get the pulley off you need to rent a "pulley puller" from any parts store...
it's pretty self explanatory, and a new pump usually comes with a "bolt and nut" combo to put the pulley back on the new pump...Last edited by ne0hisda0ne; 04-08-2009, 12:29 AM.

Re: p/s pulley
btw is the pump still in the car? If it is, the bolts are behind the pulley, to get to them there are about 4-6 holes in the pulley, any good ratchet set comes with an extension, just line up the holes with the bolts and ratchet away...I found it easier to remove and install the pulley when it was outside the car...just my 2 cents...Last edited by ne0hisda0ne; 04-08-2009, 12:28 AM.
