well...I installed my 160* today and saw no change. I went driving around for about 30 minutes, with no stand still traffic and it still read about 210...so HOPEFULLY u r right!

i've never heard of a dummy gauge but i installed a 160* and it never changed. it wont. your computer isnt tuned for it.Comment

I changed mine to 160. Only in standing (or slow) traffic y guage goes close to 190. highway its 2 ABOUT 160-170. i SAY big improvement. Although i did read somewhere that optimal temp for an engine is 170 for max performance.
