Hey... when you drain and clean your coolant system, how do you known when the block is clean? You won't exactly know when the water you use will return back to the radiator do you?

yes....and if you would have read the post RIGHT BEFORE MINE, you would have noticed that the guy was talking about a "dummy" gauge, which is why I said ""HOPEFULLY u r right!"

I changed mine to 160. Only in standing (or slow) traffic y guage goes close to 190. highway its 2 ABOUT 160-170. i SAY big improvement. Although i did read somewhere that optimal temp for an engine is 170 for max performance.

The dummy guage started in 99, at least on the Z28s. I don't know about the sixers.
