I just read GM recalls 1.4 million cars. for a problem with the 3.8V6
i have a 2001 3.8V6 Camaro, the Camaro is not on the list.
does the camaro don´t have this problem ?
Don't worry about it. You might be able to do that if you go in reverse up to a pretty high speed then hit the brakes. But I really doubt any of us will be doing that.
Sounds to me that it may be with the valve cover gaskets leaking, in which case, with transverse motors, may cause a problem with oil leaking directly onto the exhaust manifold, giving the chance of an engine fire. When I found mine, I thought there may be a possible problem to it, but just fixed it. No more faint oil burning smell. I also don't believe we have the spark plug wire channel, or at least on my '96, there's just the normal wire retainers.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
