I need a brighter 9006, not bluer, just brighter, any suggestions?

I'm going to glue a 9006 bulb into an old H4351 headlamp to see what happens. I ultimately want brighter lights. I don't care what color they are, I just need more output. I'd rather not have the HID wannabe lights but if they are brighter, I guess I'll have to get over what ever color they are. Has anyone tried Sylvania's Silverstars? They look like they're pretty sharp but I hate to drop $25 on an "experiment."

street glow works for me ;) ...put high beam bulbs in your low beams...9005....that'll be bright enough ;)

Is it "legal" to put the 9005's in? It seems like that might be offensive to oncoming traffic. I don't want to upset the local authorities! :D :D

The Sylvanias don't look "blue" on their website, that kind of appeals to me. Has anyone got any pics of some on their car or know of anyone who has them?

I hate to drop $25 on a BULB!! I just can't get over that. I might just have to bite the bullet.

I want more lumens. Aren't the H4351's putting out 1000? Does anyone know. The Silver Stars only put out 1000, too. That's not much of an upgrade. I just wrap some blue cellophane on my bulbs and turn them blue! [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img]

My friend put them on his S-10 and they are just whiter, not more blue.
