original v8 transam or v6 cause I think the original v6 had a 2.8L in it... ;)

i looked and its only 140 at my local junkyard. but thats with u pulling it. its 250 pre-pulled.

i dont think i already said it. but i was thinking back..and the engine actually never shut off by itself... it just got real hot and went to the redline, then i heard a weird noise..couldnt describe it but it only happened when i pushed that gas. then finally when i would push the gas pedal...it wouldnt produce any power..it was like i wasnt even pushing the pedal..but u could still feel that i was pushing it cuz when i let off of the pedal u could feel a different. then a few minutes later i tried starting it and it would just turn like the battery is dead. then the next day.. my dad might've did something.. he says he only added water then tried starting it and it started then after that the starter just spins and doesnt turn the engine at all.

so i was gonna see whats wrong with this engine first. gonna change the starter.

will the starter from a 3.4 camaro fit a 3.8 camaro?
