so af few months back, i had a surging rpm prob..so i replaced the IAC...it worked for a few weeks and it happened again..i found a huge vacuum leak and fix that and replaced ALL the vac lines and it was fine, until recently, its intermitent, and usally happens when at operating temp. the whole car will jerk with the rpm while trying to cruise steady and while at WOT, i can feel power come and go as if i was paddeling the gas pedal. I have a feeling its either MAF or EGR related. Does anyone have an idea what it could be?

Check your Intake manifold gasket. I've had the worst HIGH idle High RPM problem in the world and it took me a while to figure it out. As soon as ai changed those gaskets my car is running LIke new.. ANd if you do pull change the gasket mine as well do What I did and Vacuum out the Intake manifold with a shop vac and change the "o" rings around the fuel injectors and clean them off. Gasket kit is like 20$ bucks at your nearest auto zone gives you a whole kit throttle body, egr,Valve, and others mine as well give it a shot.John
Flowmaster custom piping, K&N intake and filter, catco high clow cat, stage II clutch, More to come.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2036060
