Heheheh, fail of the rod bearing kind.... Current local ls1 prices seem to be looking at around 1500ish w/ accessories and ecu and sometimes the tranny. What do you guys think, ls1 it or rebuild the 3.8 (98 camaro btw)

I've got the money, found a longblock locally for $1800 all accessories, ecu, harness. Are the shafts the same size on our trans?

What are the differences, i thought it was just a standard 4l60e with a different bellhousing on it?

Is bearing failure a common issue on our car? Seems to be happening a lot lately...
