    Re: spark plug help

why do you have to change them one by one?

it is almost impossible to put a plug wire on wrong on an ls1...

      Re: spark plug help

My V-6 are different lengths. I usually decide which lengths to use where by figuring out which plugs are the farthest from the coils then using the longest wires there. Changing one by one ensures that I don't **** up the ignition order.

the ls1's use coil packs that are bolted the the valve cover directly above the spark plug

the spark plug wires are like 3" long

          Re: spark plug help

My MSD 8.5 wires came with little clips that would mark each wire, I thought that was pretty cool. Don't have to trace wires anymore to the coil, if you change one by one there shouldn't be any problems. This is also a V6 website for F-bodys, not V8's , LS1.com , z28.com, LS2.com and there are many more you could post. Just wondering why you are posting here, I know members who have had V6 F-bodys and then upgraded come back and post mainly appearance or chat not to ask questions on different engines. I'm not trying to be mean or anything but there are V8 websites for tech questions. It would be like a Mustang person asking questions on his engine.
