all v6's come with a 2 piece driveshaft.. although it might be different for the special ones (like y87)
Not true. Some 99+ models came with a 1 piece steel driveshaft, both Y87 and non-Y87. My '99 came stock with a 1 piece driveshaft, but doesn't have the Y87 package.
To the OP, I would suggest you invest in an aluminum driveshaft. Don't mess with a steel 1 piece if you plan on changing it out later for an aluminum one. Go to LS1tech and create a thread in the Wanted section. It shouldn't take long for you to get a decent offer.
thank you pace but i have one more question for you since your the one who knows most!
does it matter wether its from a automatic car ?
since my car is manual ?
or does the drive shaft have to be off a manaul car?

No, the driveshafts from automatics and manuals are the same. In fact, the aluminum driveshaft in my automatic car was originally in a manual TA.
