  • No start after car wash

I have a question. Probably dumb but just want to run it across you guys first.

Has anyone had there car not start after washing it.

I washed my car last friday and after it didn't start. I open the hood and find some small puddles on both sides of the engine (where that depression lies). I try to start it today and it starts up no problem, and several times in succession. Can water going underneath the hood effect the start? Anyone else have this issue?

Remove each wire (one at a time) and apply some dialectic grease. Also check the wires for any wear or nicks, if it is, replace it and wrap it with electrical tape in the mean-time.

Yah under significant load (above 2500) it lets out a distinct *tick tick tick*

                      Would it throw any codes?

This is how I tested out my T-Top Conversion. Something like 2-3 drops on the seats. Then I adjusted the weather stripping and I'm good now.

Might run leaner on that O2 bank or side, I would just fix it pretty easy job. Felpro gasket and some copper spray sealant, great fix.
