  • radiator problem...

okay i was changing my lower hose (its past due) and i took it off and hanging out of the lower radiator hole (where the lower hose attaches) was a about a foot and a half long piece of rubber.. i came to the conclusion that it is the seal between the plastic endcap and the aluminum radiator core should i

    upgrade buy a bigger radiator

buy a stock replacement (used or new)

take it to a radiator shop have them pop the end cap off and redo the gasket..

i do not want to snip the rubber off and put it back together even though there are no leaks.. my luck a piece will come off and **** the water pump up or clog a water jacket in the engine.

I'm going with a bigger radiator to keep my temps down in the summer, when the turbo is on, I had to find a radiator install kit for $99 from summit to help hold the fans and hold the condensor, since my ALM. aftermarket doesn't have the slots on the ends to hold them like the stock one does.
