Jet chip

After searching through the archives, just like everything else, I've come up with no conclusion on the Jet Chip Stage 1. I do not want a stage 2 chip because I do not want a 160 thermostat in my car. I've seen where they run only about $140 or so. Is it worth it? All I saw where people saying it only improved shifting, where on their website it specifically says 15-17 horsepower. I have a basic 94 V-6 with no mods other than plugs and wires, but getting a new exhaust soon. Is this chip worth anything to me?

if u dont plan on any more mods then exhaust on your car then stage one should be enough

jet chips are a waste of money in my opinion!!!
they dont really give you a significant power increase that you can notice, they just make you buy more expensive gas, and make the car rev higher (RPms) and use more gas..
