  • oil smell.

    every time i start the car there is a faint oil smell in the cabin. then it goes away. i dont know what it is. do you guys.

    check your valve covers to see if they are leaking

      have someone start your car while you stand at the back and see if a puff of blue smoke comes out

          Even if you cannot pinpoint the leak, try tightening the valve cover bolts anyway. You may find they have come loose. On my beater, it was leaking oil like crazy, and it turned out the bolts had totally loosened, where some could be easily turned by hand.
