    Re: what works? need hp/tq!

so supercharging is not really the way to go? id think that would cause less mechanical let down than spraying nos into the engine. not saying that nos is a bad idea, but thats limited where as is the supercharger always helps.

whats the cost of nos vs supercharging? also if i go with a supercharger. is the self lubing the way to go?

cant seem to find this item available for my car.

          so here are my thoughts.
          1. whisper lid
          2. cold air intake omitting whisper lid. or just k & n filter
          3. jet chip
          4. dual exhaust from the cat back
          5. self lubing supercharger
          6. better ignition

reorder as needed. thoughts? im happy with the 3.8 and i was looking at some supercharger calculators. im not really ever gonna get v8 power BUT it will do very will with these mods and will not be as heavy.

          opinions?
With a 150K miles, it might not be a good idea to ty to squeeze out more HP from the motor with a supercharger. Also, the trans (either auto or stick) will be showing some wear, and again, not a good idea to stress it.

The rest of the bolt ons are rather expensive, and may not be giving you the power increase you're looking for.

So if you really want to pep up the cars performance save all that money you plan to spend on the stuff you listed above, and put in a set of 3.73 gears and a posi . The car will accelerate quicker, respond better and be all around more fun to drive.
