I love my Camaro
and i was hoping i could get some ideas on how to keep it safe from theft?
Or what security systems and other things do you guys use and recommend??
i have an avital, and it was good the few times i used it
but i cut the wire from the siren because one time my friend pressed the lock button on the key fob and i didnt know so i went to get in the car and the alarm was going off and i didnt have any way to stop it since he had the key fob and i dont know how to shut it off without it
I have a computech 2-way alarm system... has a pager on my keychain that goes off if my alarm goes off and it has a little picture on it that shows me what set off the alarm... ie: vibration, door opening, hood opening, or hatch opening... my car was broken into 3 times before I got this alarm... I actually caught the last guys who tried to break into it though, back in high school... I rigged a switch so that I could turn off my siren, and when I parked at my house for the night, I would turn the siren off, so just my pager would beep if the alarm was set off... so they broke in and no alarm on the car went off, but my pager did at 5 in the morning and I looked out the window and called the cops... two cruisers came and surprised the hell out of them... ended up being 3 guys that were friends of friends that I went to school with...
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...
It also has remote start, which, (at the time that I bought it back in '04) was the only remote start designed to be used with a manual tranny... works very well even after 5 years, have replaced the pager twice though

I use a garage and an Axe while clad in my underware not a sight that anybody wants to see so word gets around. As well as display the body of the last Ahole you caught screwing around your stuf. That usally keeps away the retards.
