Re: I need everyones input on this one please!

yeah if the trans mount is torn, then the back of the trans isnt connected to the frame of the car. + the torque arm is connected to the back of the trans. so everytime you hit the cas the rear pushes the torque arm up but because the trans mount is bad it isnt attached to anything and it moves up and down freely. understand?

as far as shocks go, auto zone is fine for stock replacements.
    If your car is
    A. lowered
    B. Plan to lower in the future
    C. want to up grade your shocks for performance

I would not buy shocks from autozone. Better performing shocks such as bilstines or KYBs are going to run about $400 while Konis will cost you about 800 i believe.

Definitely replace a broken trans mount. You can get one at Autozone for a good price. Another option is poly, but that can cause some vibrations through the shifter until broken in.

And for future reference, the Moog LCA bushing part number is K6178. The old stock rubber bushings will need to be pressed out and these pressed in. But first, take care of that trans mount.

as meatyshells said, check your bushings. tq arm mount at the tranny, make sure it isnt cracked. if your wheel hop isnt as bad as he is saying, then it may just be time for an upgrade. but first check all of your crap.

                      is your car an auto/manual?
                      does your shifter bounce?
