I'm trying to figure out if my water pump needs replacing. When i stop I notice a puddle of water directly under my engine. When I get onto the highway ill notice the car get almost all the way up to the red then cool down out of nowhere and get back to operationg temp. I think I can kinda see some moisture behing the actually pulley part of my Pump. This is on a 3.4L do u guys think its the pump? And can the pumpforce water out of the coolant resivoir if its not working correctly.... I know I spelled that wrong
