Hey guys how do you install a Waterpump onto a 3.4L.....how hard is it and what all will I have to do to make the change?

i hate my chiltons manual. i love my haynes.
here is what a chiltons is like
1-remove part #1 (see section 5)
2-remove other part (see chapter 9 section 8)
chapter 9 section 8
1-remove part (see chapter 3 section 4)

I've never owned a Chilton's, but my Haynes has been very helpfulRebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..

haynes has done me well for the 3.4
van bib is right, a service book would be the best but they are hard to come by.
in regards to your water pump installation, it can be done in about a 4 hour jaunt. one of the bolts is behind the power steering pump bracket so you will have to detach the bracket to get to it. the pulley bolts come out easily and usually the water pump bolts do as well. you will want to put some sealant on the bigger bolts when you put them back into the block.
