im about to buy an ac compressor from someone here who took it off his 98 camaro.
my question is will it fit up to 96? are all parts interchangable? i heard from people that they werent, and some people said they were..
every part? compressor, accumulator, hoses, radiator?

TomRS, if he took all the hoses, accumualtor and condenser it might work since it is the whole setup unless the A/C compressor bolts up diffferent. He would just have a complete 98 A/C in his 96'. Do you know if the A/C compressor bolts up the same on the block?

i am not sure it it bolts up. But the accumilator wont bolt to the line from the firewall. The 98 accumualator will have a flange while the line coming from the car will be an o-ring type
