3.4 thermostat Installation

any good tips, pics, guides to doing this, because i've tried searching and there are no how-to's that i have found. any tips or suggestions are helpful i.e. socket sizes and such

did you look on camaroz28.com?

to make the job easy you need a jointed shallow socket in the size of the bolts...other then that it is easy. If you don't use the socket as you start to back out the bolt you will hit the intake and it get tough. I have the socket somewhere in the garage...if you can't finad any info, let me know and I will go search..

yeah its a pretty straight forward job... just getting to the bolts is the only challenge

Using the jointed socket will make all the difference, I speak from experience.

not everyone has jointed sockets though.. and even less people have crows feet(thats what i use)

yup, but make sure that you have the shallow head...drop me an email and I will take a digital picture and get you the size...it just may take a day or two to find it....my wife keeps yelling at me to clean up the garage [img]smile.gif[/img]
