Need mods

I recently bought a 96 3.8 firebird, besides the obvious ones like CAI and exhuast what good decent mods are out for this car and engine? I'm looking for things like bored/ported throttle body, intake manifold, heads, etc. I've looked at a lot of stuff on zzperformance when I had a grand prix with the same engine, I'm asuming that as long as it doesn't specifically have to do with the intake/exhaust/programming of a grand prix I could put a lot of their stuff on my bird as well, right? I'm mainly interested in their heads and rockers. Any help would be appreciated

rockers/injectors will swap over...you can use the heads from zzp...cam as well....

as far as mods go...what do you consider decent? and how much you wanna spend...There is support out there to go N/A, turbo, S/C, nitrous...skys the limit...

A lot of grand prix aftermarket items are interchangeable. Heads are the same as the NA gp heads so any ported heads from abbotts, zzp, intense, supersix, etc will work

TB, don't bother, ours is huge already and not a bottle neck in the system

Intake manifolds, not the greatest, but with a little machining work for most people. I personally have holden upper/lower intakes with a holden TB.

Rockers work the same between the engines as well.

do a seach you will find everything you need to know. all mods need to be done depending on which way your gonna go....as for what you asked....P&P tb will give you more problems than it's worth with f bodies. P&P intake isnt worth the money you will spend to get it done correct...tons of money couple hp. P&P heads are worth it if you take it to the right shop. We do have the same interal engine as the grand ams so things on zzperformance do fit. new heads are always sweet but as for roller rockers....def def def not worth the cash. you'd get a better out come take a crap before a race
