What is the part number for the tank. Also, I need the part #s for the pipe that leads to the hose that connects to the radiator cap area and the miscellaneous little parts around the overflow tank.
I searched but was not able to find the part #s, most importantly the tank and the pipe.
Thank you!

The leaking dex cool has been literally eating away at the car's frame. After I get the new tank, I'll be doing some work with Rust Bullet to stop the damage. It looks pretty nasty under the battery. I'm having to add coolant daily right now.

Stop using Dex cool. Ive been putting the conventional green in my car for some time now, no problems.

I thouhgt putting green in the radiator was like mixing matter and anti-matter - it could be the end of the universe - or my car - as we know it.
I still to this day have not gotten an exact reason as to why they use the dex cool. Ive heard it was due to the metal used in the radiator, Ive heard something about the rubber of the hoses.....hell if I know. I have yet to have problems with it, so long as you keep it flushed on normal intervals. And its not like you're using alot of it, being in FL, I can't see you using more than 40% anti-freeze anyway. I use 70/30 water to antifreeze ratio in the summer, and bump it up to 50/50 in the winter. Its not the antifreeze thats cooling the engine, its the water anyway.

You can switch... just don't mix green and DEX-cool... I cleaned up alot of those messes when I worked at Sears AC...
And as far as I've understood it, GM used it bc they simply thought it was a better, more efficient and effective coolant... recent lawsuits have linked DEX-cool to all of the manifold and head gasket failures in GM V6 engines...
My Dad who just retired 40 years from GM always said dex-cool was crap and always recommend after warranty was up to switch to green antifreeeze. Which I did and I am glad. I'm going to run a 70 water/ 30 antifreeeeze with RP ICE to help reduce temps in this 116-118 degree weather here.

Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
