    Re: Which oil?

valvoline blend 10w-30 and used every other kind holds up the best with a nice price 16$ for 5 quarts at walmart. imo

      Re: Which oil?

every car is different. if you're really concerned about which brand/type of oil to use, then you should try several different kinds.

during 7,500mile oil change intervals, my 98 3.8L camaro burns a little mobil1 5w30 (maybe 1-1.5qts), but it's perfectly happy with synthetic pennzoil 5w30.

during 10,000mile oil change intervals, my 03 2.4L accord burns 2+ qts of mobil1 5w20 and synthetic valvoline 5w20, but it's fine with conventional valvoline 5w20 and synthetic castrol 5w20.

both cars get walmart supertech oil filters and both run perfectly fine.

Conventional 10w30 for me. Change it when you are supposed to and it will never give you an issue.

castrol gtx high mileage 10w 30 right now. 182,000 and still running strong. when my rebuilt engine goes in nothing but royal purple.

Mobil 1 is also great though.
